Timberland
Timberland
First launched in 1973 the Timberland name was created by the Swartz family who had been in the shoe business since 1952. The company was formed in Boston, USA and now Timberland have their headquarters in New Hampshire, USA.
Their range of Timberland boots, shoes, and boat shoes were created for durability, and also for being waterproof and they created footwear specifically for hiking and mountaineering, using the latest technologies and pushing the boundaries to create state of the art products.
During the 1990's Timberland started to become highly popular on the fashion market, particularly as many rap music stars were seen wearing their footwear, and to this day Timberland is still very popular amongst the fashion conscious.
Alongside their footwear range Timberland also produce a range of clothing, watches, sunglasses and leather goods.
