Alexander McQueen

British Designer Alexander McQueen was one of the world premier fashion designers before he sadly took his own life early in 2010. McQueen learnt much of his trade when he was appointed by French fashion label Givenchy as head designer in 1996, succeeding John Galliano who now heads up Christian Dior.
McQueen carried on with his own fashion with his elaborate designs, and was most famous for his iconic skull logo that featured on his scarves, bags, shoes and t-shirts. Alexander McQueen in 2006 launched the label McQ which was aimed at a younger male and female market with a lower price point that the premium Alexander McQueen range.
